"I had severe eye problems with my left eye due to an epiretinal membrane. The epiretinal membrane was the result of an eye infection inside my eye, and the resulting "scab" over my retina caused visual distortion.  My eyes were not able to see together clearly, and the doctors told me it could be a problem I would have for the rest of my life.  Surgery options were discussed but not recommended until my vision got much worse.  Because of the inability of my eyes to work together in stereo vision, this caused severe eye strain and headaches.  After several months working with the detox cleanse diet and supplements, my vision seemed to remain the same until 6 months into the program.  My eyesight suddenly improved drastically within a weeks time.  The distortion in my left eye is nearly gone and my eyes are able to work together again without strain.  Also, my eye specialist was able to determine that my eye has drastically improved and seems to be healing very well.  I have been taken off the high-risk list and moved to the routine eye exam list of patients.  My eye strain and headaches lessened by about 90% and are nearly non-existent."

"Before I found Dr. Redd on 27 April 2010, I was at my wits end, my last straw, any way you want to word it; I was on the brink of self-destructing breaking down emotionally and physically because I had gone way over any pain limits threshold or tolerance humanly possible, or possible for me. 

I had never experienced anything like this and I hope that I never do again, it has been disabling, debilitating, physically and emotionally draining.  I was being tortured every moment of the day and night with pain.  I could not move without pain, a lot of pain in many places.  The pain was in my neck, I couldn't move my head, in my shoulder, in my shoulder blade area, my elbow was so tender I couldn't touch it and barely move it, I had pain in my wrist and had no strength and it was difficult to move, and pain in my left three fingers, no strength and my arm was hurting and throbbing constantly.  My pain was changing my life, the way I lived, how I behaved, how I viewed any situation, I cried most of the time, my mood darkened and people didn't want to be around me.  I was on the verge of losing everything good and worthwhile in my life. 

I just wanted the pain to end, and there was no light in the tunnel for me, no end to the pain and worst of all no options for me and no one to turn to for help, no doctors would help me, even from the beginning when I was first injured no doctors helped me, they sent me to physical therapy which did nothing, it was costly and it actually hurt my condition and I feel that's why my pain level reached such an intensity, I could have known so much less discomfort had the doctors been willing to do their job. 

I can remember my first visit, Dr. Redd looked at my x-rays, and said he knew exactly what was wrong with me.  I could not believe what I was hearing, and could this be true?  He then took immediate action to address my pain and I remember crying right after the procedure because of the immediate affect his procedure had on my pain and I was able to go home and sleep for ten hours.  Up until that day after my accident I could only sleep for maybe 1 hour at a time getting maybe two or three hours sleep a day because my pain was that intense. 

Everything he said would happen did happen with the timeline of the treatments and its effects.  The pain came back but each time much less intense, I did in fact have a "relapse" as he called it, but after that my physical discomfort seemed to lessen more rapidly as he stated it would.

It is a miracle come true for me.

Because I view Dr. Redd as an Angel of Mercy, as of 3 June 2010, I am much improved have much less discomfort, yet still having and working through a lot of aching and the need to move to distract me from my discomfort.

The aching pain seems much deeper now, nagging, yet always there especially when I'm still.

But, I can function now, I can enjoy performing my activities such as my workouts, my golf games, and working at my job with less distraction, however sitting at my desk still presents me with the challenge of staying on one position for too long and I need to get up and move around.  My typing ability has improved somewhat but my fingers still hurt when I use them or squeeze something, I cannot spread them apart in comfort and I lack strength in my hand and my wrist.

After any physical activity I feel sore and stiff more than I used to before my injury so I have to monitor my level of physical activity.

I trust Dr. Redd completely and want him to be my primary care physician to treat any current and future medical conditions.

I now enjoy going out with friends again for I had stopped seeing people socially, for any months after work I would go home and cry, go crazy, pace, and now I'm back socializing, feeling better about myself, it's amazing how my physical pain affected me mentally."
